Amanda Parkes is an accomplished technology and innovation leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Mothership Materials since May 2025. Amanda contributes to the field of early-stage consumer climate tech innovation as a member of the Global Advisory Board at Regeneration.VC, while also providing scientific advice to Matereal on business strategy and operations. Previously, Amanda held the position of Chief Innovation Officer at PANGAIA, a pioneering materials science company, and has extensive academic experience, serving as an Assistant Professor at Harvard University and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University. Amanda's entrepreneurial background includes founding Skinteractive Studio and co-founding Bodega Algae. Amanda earned a PhD from the MIT Media Lab and a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Art History from Stanford University.
