Jia Hu

Jia Hu is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Motif Neurotech, focusing on early-stage research and the development of a Class III brain stimulation implant since October 2023. Previously, Jia worked as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota from January 2015 to May 2020, contributing to projects such as miniaturized portable brain imaging devices and innovative surgical robots, while also serving as a Teaching Assistant for a Biomechanics course. Jia's expertise includes the design of experiments, verification and validation, and product development, with a strong academic background that includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
