Josh Buoy

Josh Buoy is an accomplished creative director and co-founder with extensive experience in branded storytelling and strategic production. Currently serving as Creative Director at Motion since March 2024, Josh leads narrative, documentary, and animated projects. As Exec Creative Director and Co-Founder of Buoyancy since January 2021, Josh fosters innovative narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Previously, as Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Tuesday Company from November 2016 to December 2020, Josh was instrumental in developing a mobile app for political organizations and led various branding and storytelling efforts. Josh also served as Executive Producer and Creative Director at Snowday from January 2014 to December 2019, directing numerous successful digital campaigns. Early career roles include Campaign Creative Director at the University of Michigan and Executive Producer at Filmic Productions, showcasing a solid foundation in creative leadership and project management. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan.
