Reece M.

Reece M. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT industry. Reece is currently working as the GM / Head of IT at Motion Asia Pacific, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, Reece served as the Head of IT Engagement at Metcash from November 2018 to October 2022.

Before joining Metcash, Reece worked at Woolworths Group as the Senior Manager - IT / Projects from May 2016 to November 2018. Preceding that, they held the position of Chief Information Officer at Value Logistics, where they were responsible for all aspects of Information Technology across the group.

Reece also gained valuable experience at Prudential Healthcare and Vitality UK as a Senior IT Program Manager and Senior IT Manager, respectively, from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Reece worked at Deloitte Consulting as an Engagement Manager - CIO Advisory, where they provided technology consulting services to enterprise clients across various industries. Reece also served as a Senior IT Consultant at Pfizer.

Throughout their career, Reece has demonstrated expertise in IT strategy formulation, SAP ERP implementation, IT governance, and IT risk management. Reece has managed large teams and has experience in program and project management, software development, IT infrastructure, and systems integration.

Reece M. has a diverse education history with a focus on information technology and computer science. They pursued an MBA in Information Technology Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Reece M. also obtained a CISA certification from ISACA, specializing in information systems auditing. Additionally, they earned a CISSP certification from ISC2, specializing in information security. Reece M. holds a PRINCE2 certification as well. Lastly, Reece M. completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town, where they obtained an Honours degree in Computer Science (B.Bus.Sci (Hons)).
