John Desmet

John DeSmet currently serves as a full-time professional at CEOMotion Musculoskeletal Institute since January 2023. Prior to this role, John held multiple senior leadership positions at Optum from January 2007 to June 2024, including Senior Vice President of Optum At Home, Senior Vice President/President of Optum Specialty Network Solutions, and Chief Operating Officer of Physical Health/ACN. John also gained experience as General Manager at Rubicon Programs Inc from January 2001 to December 2003 and at Kozmo.com from January 1999 to December 2001, where John launched and led a new e-commerce service in a key market. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
