Vanessa Ruane

Vanessa Ruane is a seasoned professional in the film and television industry with extensive experience as a freelance filmmaker, producer, writer, camera operator, and editor. Since 2003, Vanessa has worked with Firefighter Productions, providing a range of production services including directing and project coordination. Vanessa has held editorial positions at notable companies such as FX, where work on "Snowfall" spanned six seasons, and Netflix for "Dirty John." Additionally, Vanessa has contributed to projects for Hulu, Showtime, and ABC/Freeform Television. In 2023, Vanessa served as a freelance videographer for Lindblad Expeditions while continuing membership in professional organizations such as AWD and the Motion Picture Editors Guild. Vanessa holds a high school diploma in Acting from the Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts.
