Max Gerdes is an experienced executive in the staffing industry, currently serving as Executive Director at Motion Recruitment since December 2014, where management of a team of recruiters focusing on UI/UX Product Designers, Product Managers, and Mobile Engineers takes place. Previously, Max held positions including Managing Director and Team Manager, overseeing recruitment efforts for specialized markets such as Ruby and JavaScript, as well as leading a technical recruitment team for Java, Python, and Data Engineers. Max possesses expertise in placing Open Source Developers and Data Engineers/Scientists across various programming languages and technologies in the Chicago area. Prior to Motion Recruitment, Max gained experience as a Technical Recruiter at the Will County Sheriff's Office and holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Lewis University.
