Phanindra Amaradi is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in autonomous driving systems and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer and Team Lead at Motional since March 2019, Phanindra has previously held positions including Senior Engineer and Autonomous Driving Systems Engineer at Aptiv, where responsibilities included designing test plans for AV sensors. Prior to that, Phanindra worked at Autoliv as an Application Engineer and Test Engineer, focusing on engineering drawings and testing processes. A mechanical engineering intern at Rampf Group Inc., Phanindra gained experience in product design across various sectors. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) from Kettering University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Phanindra's research at Kettering University concentrated on autonomous vehicles, including real-time lane tracking and the control of autonomous robots.
