Qin Yang

Qin Yang is an accomplished technical program and product management professional with extensive experience in the autonomous systems and electric vehicle industries. Currently at Motional, Qin is focused on building a safety roadmap for AI systems. Prior roles include technical product management at Pony.ai and technical lead at GAC R&D Center Silicon Valley. While at Apple, Qin developed a system simulation model that significantly improved the simulation platform within two months of joining. As a product architect at Faraday Future, Qin was instrumental in the development of innovative mobility solutions and contributed to extensive team growth. Qin holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from Tsinghua University, along with ongoing education in product management.
