Alexandre Grillon has worked in a variety of roles over the past decade. In 2017, they became Co-Founder of MotionTech. From 2014-2017, they were a Data Science R&D Engineer at HEIG-VD, and a Visiting Researcher at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, where they worked on Machine Learning methodologies for understanding the yield gap of several crops, resulting in two publications in PLOS ONE agriculture. From 2011-2014, they were a Smartphone Community Manager at Nokia. From 2010-2011, they were a Student Assistant at EPFL and an Assistant at La Mobilière. From 2007-2010, they worked as a Translator for the Swiss Chess Federation.
Alexandre Grillon has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science from the Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie et de Gestion between 2012 and 2014. Alexandre also attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Statistical Analysis of fMRI Data from Coursera in April 2014, Computational Neuroscience from Coursera in March 2014, and Kaggle R Tutorial on Machine Learning from DataCamp.
