Indranil Sarkar

Indranil Sarkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Board Member and Audit Committee Member at Aera Energy LLC since July 2020, while also holding the position of Joint Venture Manager at Shell since June 2013. With a robust background in new business development, Indranil has been involved in structuring and managing a wide range of deals, including mergers and acquisitions, and has played a key role in Shell's Energy Transition Program in the USA. Prior to Shell, Indranil held various positions at Hess Corporation, Schlumberger Business Consulting, KBR, and Technip USA, with a focus on commercial performance, project management, and strategic advisory roles. Indranil holds an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business, a B.Tech. in Ocean Engineering & Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an MS in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University.
