Jay Perkerson

Jay Perkerson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and project management. Currently serving as a Capital Projects Construction Engineer at Motiva Enterprises LLC since November 2023, Jay previously held roles as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Recon Management Services INC and LJA Energy. With a strong background as a Project Manager at Engineering & Inspection Services, Jay oversaw capital project engineering and design for ExxonMobil's Beaumont facilities, managing a budget of $11.9 million. Jay's career began at ENGlobal, focusing on piping and mechanical design, and spans back to 2009 at Motiva, where responsibilities included turnaround and capital project estimation. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Lamar University and has a solid educational foundation from the Saudi Aramco School System and Orme College Preparatory School.
