Dr. Drew Porter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2010, they started their career as a Sales Associate at Eastbay, Inc. before transitioning to the role of Youth Sports Associate at YMCA in 2010. From 2012 to 2013, they served as an Environmental Affairs Intern at Wausau Paper.
In 2012, Dr. Porter joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they worked as a Department of Neuroscience Research Assistant and later as a Fitness Consultant until 2014. During this time, they also served as a Caregiver at Senior Helpers - Madison, WI from 2014 to 2015.
Dr. Porter continued their academic journey at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher from 2016 to 2018. In 2016, they also founded and became the CEO of Motivate MD, a company that empowers aspiring physicians and provides valuable services in the medical field.
In 2019, Dr. Porter joined The University of Tennessee Health Science Center as an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician. Drew later became an Emergency Medicine Clinical Faculty member at the same institution in 2022. Additionally, in the same year, they began working as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Sound Physicians.
Dr. Porter's work experiences demonstrate their dedication to the medical field, their commitment to helping others in various roles, and their entrepreneurial spirit in founding Motivate MD.
Drew Porter, MD pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiology and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2012 and 2014. Following this, they attended the UW School of Medicine and Public Health from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Drew also studied Neurobiology and Neurosciences at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County from 2010 to 2012.
