Ianthe Andress

Ianthe’s leadership and management experience spans the military, non-profit and business worlds. Raised in Australia, she has since lived, trained, and worked in the United Kingdom, Europe, China, and Central Asia, and now calls the United States home.

After graduating from the Australian Defence Force Academy in the Royal Australian Air Force, Ianthe was deployed to Kyrgyzstan as the Senior Intelligence Officer, supporting coalition air operations in Afghanistan. She was also a Senior Imagery Analyst Instructor at Australia’s Defence Intelligence Training Center.

Ianthe later served in management roles with non-profit organizations and helped establish the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists. Ianthe also worked as Expeditor and Business Operations Manager at the executive search firm Parker Remick, when it undertook retained searches for Google, Amazon, and leading Silicon Valley VCs. Prior to joining Motive, Ianthe ran her own business consultancy for eight years and most recently was Executive Director of the Technology Alliance Group, supporting innovation and education initiatives for the Pacific Northwest tech community.

Ianthe has a Master’s in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego’s School of Business.
