John Helas

John Helas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career in 1997 as a Senior Manager European Programme Delivery at Wordcom-MCI. John then worked as the European Director of Facilities at MCI from 1999 to 2004. Following that, they served as the Interim Business Director at Jacobs Engineering in 2004 and as the Operations & Programme Office Director at Transaction Network Services in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the CEO of Alan Dick, a telecom, broadcast, and infrastructure service provider. John then worked as the VP Operations & Technology EMEAAP at MoneyGram International from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they served as a Non-Executive Trustee at Twycross Zoo and as the Regional Managing Director GB, Ireland & Portugal at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. During this time, they also served as a Non Executive Director at Ozo Innovations from 2015 to 2017. Most recently, they have been working as the Chief Executive Officer at Motocaddy Golf since 2018.

John Helas attended the University of Leeds from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1999, they completed Senior Management Training at Hult Ashridge. Prior to their university studies, John attended Hull Grammar School from 1981 to 1986. John is also a Full Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineering.
