Alex Leonov has extensive work experience in marketing and business development. In 1997, they began their career as a Marketing Project Coordinator at World United Corp., where they researched potential markets in Europe, compiled prospect databases, and managed advertising campaigns. In 1998, they moved to Browne Dreyfus International, Ltd. as a Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for market analysis and the Eastern European markets. In 2005, they joined MeshNetics Inc. as Director of Marketing, where they were responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the company's PR and B2B marketing strategy. In 2009, they began working at Luxoft as Director of Marketing, Automotive. In 2016, they co-founded Smart Vehicle Diagnostics LLC, where they were responsible for new product development, marketing, sales, and operations. Alex also invented and patented the world's first compact OBD device for a motorcycle. In 2018, they co-founded MotoLink LLC with the goal of bringing the benefits of connected vehicle technology to motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, PWC, and other powersports vehicles. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Volvo Trucks North America as Digital Services Manager, responsible for developing and deploying services leveraging connected vehicle data that will enhance the Volvo and Mack diesel and electric (BEV) trucks ownership experience.

Alex Leonov received their MBA in Management & Leadership from Dowling College between 1997 and 2000.
