John Chalifoux

John Chalifoux serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer at MEMA, The Vehicle Suppliers Association, since May 2006, representing North America's automotive and commercial vehicle supplier industry. Chalifoux is also the Founding President and Chief Operating Officer of MERA - The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing, which advocates for the benefits of remanufacturing and sustainable manufacturing practices. Previous roles include Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, General Manager of Operations at Fred Lavery Company, and various positions at J.D. Power, PwC, Valeo, FREUDENBERG NOK, NTN Bearing Corporation, Thomson Industries, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Goldman Sachs. Educational credentials include an MBA from Michigan State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Stony Brook University.
