Jeff Herrin

Jeff Herrin has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Jeff started their career in 1996 as a Technical Writer at Electronic Data Systems, where they researched, wrote, and edited GM Owner's Manuals. Jeff also worked as a Business Analyst at the Pontiac Roadside Assistance Center, assisting stranded motorists.

In 2000, Jeff joined SPX Corporation as a Technical Writer, developing and proofreading Ford Motor Company owner manuals. Jeff coordinated the development of graphics for inclusion in the owner guides and worked closely with Ford's Office of General Council for legal review.

From 2000 to 2007, Jeff worked at Tweddle Group as a Technical Writer. Jeff developed and proofread Ford and Nissan owner manuals and quick reference guides. In addition to their technical writing role, they also served as a Project Coordinator, overseeing the yearly editorial authoring activities for Ford truck owner's manuals.

Since 2007, Jeff has been working at MOTOR Information Systems as a Content Development Team Manager & Project Manager. In this role, they manage the development of diverse products, including automotive repair procedure manuals, diagnostic trouble code databases, and customer branded websites. Jeff ensures that content is mapped to a standard vehicle taxonomy and coded to the ACES aftermarket standard. Jeff consistently achieves 100% on-time product delivery reliability for nearly 40 products released quarterly.

Jeff Herrin holds an MBA in Management/Entrepreneurship, which they earned from Oakland University in the years 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the same institution from 1994 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Jeff has also obtained several certifications. Jeff is a Hearst INCLUDE Certified Change Agent, having completed the program at Hearst in August 2021. Furthermore, they have completed the Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in February 2020. Lastly, Jeff is a Certified Scrum Master, although the details regarding when and where they obtained this certification are not provided.
