Nathan Stouffer

Product Portfolio Manager, Insights at Motor Information Systems, Inc.

Nathan Stouffer has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Nathan started their career as a Corporate Accountant at Belfor USA, where they managed accounts payable and accounts receivable for branch offices and large projects. After that, they worked as an Automotive Solutions Consultant at McKinsey & Company, providing consultancy services in the automotive industry.

Nathan then joined Ionbond IHI Group as a Manager of Accounting Information Systems, where they made decisions about intranet, software, and database systems to maintain data accuracy and efficiency. Nathan also performed roles as a DBA and Application Developer.

Next, Nathan worked at RCO Engineering as a Financial Applications Developer and Analyst, responsible for administering financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics SL and managing system modifications and reporting.

In 2006, they joined MOTOR Information Systems, starting as a Sr. Developer and Architect, designing and developing GUI and data applications. Over the years, they took on various managerial roles, including Manager of Content Governance, Manager of Content Development, Manager of Business Analysis Team, and Manager of Content Development Strategy. Nathan prioritized work, provided thought leadership, and implemented Agile practices. Nathan also managed content development processes and set strategies to improve efficiency.

At Hearst Transportation, they worked as a Product Portfolio Manager, overseeing automotive products and launching new products. Nathan then joined MOTOR Information Systems again as a Director of Auto Care Services, responsible for overseeing auto care products and services.

In 2022, Nathan took on a new role at MOTOR Information Systems as a Product Portfolio Manager, Insights, where they lead the development of the MOTOR Insights product suite and business strategy. Nathan focuses on emerging technologies and areas such as electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, technology, and web3.

Throughout their career, Nathan has demonstrated a strong understanding of technology, business analysis, project management, and content development. Nathan has led diverse teams and advised on technology investments to enhance productivity and outputs.

Nathan Stouffer has a diverse education history. In 1994, they started their undergraduate studies at Alma College and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Ecology and Plant Sciences) with a minor in Mathematics in 1998.

Years later, in 2011, they pursued higher education at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Nathan successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with High Distinction in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Nathan Stouffer has obtained various certifications. In 2004, they obtained certifications from Microsoft, including MCAD: Microsoft .NET, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft .NET Application Developer, and Microsoft Certified Professional. Nathan also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance, obtained in October 2016.

More recently, Nathan Stouffer has focused on enhancing their leadership skills and promoting diversity and inclusion. Nathan completed the Hearst Leadership Development Program offered by Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in November 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Hearst INCLUDE Certified Change Agent in August 2021 and as a Hearst Diversity & Inclusion Certified Change Agent in July 2021.

Continuing their professional development, Nathan Stouffer obtained the PMC Level I - Foundations certification from Pragmatic Institute in February 2022.
