He was born in 1950. He holds a degree from A.S.O.E.E. and an MSc from the London School of Economics (London, UK). From 1978 to 2011 he worked at Citibank Greece where for a number of years he was the director of the Piraeus Shipping Department of the Bank. Since June 2018 he is an Independent Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company. In addition, it participates in the Board of Directors of two (2) credit institutions.
