Jorge Oropeza

Jorge Oropeza currently serves as Plant General Manager at Sanmina, overseeing all operation and P&L management for the assigned plant since December 2024. Previously, Jorge held the position of Head of Operations Mexico at MotoRad Ltd., managing operational and financial results for two business units in Mexico. Prior experience includes serving as Plant Manager at NCH Corporation, where responsibilities included leading operational and financial performance and ensuring deliveries to the Dallas Distribution Center. Jorge also spent 15 years at Johnson Controls in various roles, including Plant Manager and Black Belt Sr., focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence, achieving notable recognition for safety. Jorge’s career began at CEMEX, where roles included Logistics and Operations Supervisor and Customer Service Coordinator. Jorge holds an MBA in Manufacturing from EGADE Business School and a D1 Management Development degree from IPADE Business School, along with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida.
