Tony Laska

Tony Laska has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, particularly in information technology (IT) leadership roles. Tony has held positions such as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Encova Insurance, Motorists Mutual Insurance Company, and Motorists Insurance Group. Before that, they served as Senior Vice President and CIO at BrickStreet Insurance, where they reorganized the IT organization, increased productivity, and reduced workforce. In addition to their insurance roles, Laska also worked as an Assistant Vice President at Allstate Insurance, where they led a legacy policy processing system re-write project. Prior to that, they were a Director at Allstate Insurance Corporation. Tony began their career at Progressive Ins as an IT Director, overseeing various business functions. Laska also worked as a Programmer Analyst at Babcock and Wilcox, where they developed applications for business systems. Tony is currently a member of the Advisory Board at Ohio Innovation & Technology Association.

Tony Laska's education history includes the following chronology of experiences. In 1976, they graduated from McDowell H.S. with a High School Diploma, focusing on College Preparation. From 1979 to 1981, they attended John Carroll University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Following this, from 1981 to 1984, they studied Mathematical Studies at Penn State - Behrend College, earning another Bachelor's degree. Finally, from 1985 to 1987, Tony pursued Industrial Management at the University of Lynchburg, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in that field.
