Erick Nascimento

Erick Nascimento is an accomplished professional in the field of computer security, currently serving as the Head of Product Security Engineering at Motorola Solutions since July 2022, following a role as Senior Product Security Engineer at Ava Security. Nascimento has a comprehensive academic background, holding a PhD in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, with a thesis focused on side-channel attacks and countermeasures for ECC software implementations on embedded microprocessors. Nascimento's professional experience spans various prestigious organizations, including Arm, VMware, Riscure, and Intel Corporation, where expertise in cryptography, embedded systems security, and security analysis has been honed, particularly in the areas of side-channel and fault injection attacks.
