Amal Chandran

Amal Chandran possesses extensive experience in wireless modem platform development, primarily focused on enhancing performance and efficiency of communication chipsets for mobile devices. Currently serving as Senior Staff at Motorola since October 2014, Amal's responsibilities include the design and implementation of embedded wireless modem protocol software features and the management of Big-Data systems for Key Performance Indicators tracking. Prior to this role, Amal worked at Broadcom as Senior Staff, leading the design and maintenance of the RRC layer of the 3GPP protocol stack. Previous experience includes technical leadership roles at Renesas Mobile Corporation and Nokia Mobile Phones, where major 3GPP features were developed and tested. Early career experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Mobile Devices included analysis and development of wireless protocol software, alongside a foundational role as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant. Amal holds a B. Tech degree in Computer Science from Model Engineering College, Cochin.
