Vivek Malipatil

Vivek Malipatil is the Co-Founder & COO at Motorq. Vivek has over fifteen years of experience in strategy, operations, and technology.

Previously, they were the VP Strategy & Operations at Sighten, Inc., a leading SaaS provider to solar financing and solar installation companies which was acquired by NextEra Energy. Prior to that, Vivek spent six years at Verengo Solar in various senior leadership roles in operations, technology, product, and business intelligence. Verengo Solar was an Angeleno Group and Kleiner Perkins-backed top 3 national solar residential integrator before being acquired by Crius Energy.

Before their work in the solar industry, Vivek was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group where they worked on new market entry assessment and operations strategy for automotive, retail, and CPG clients. Vivek also interned at Accenture as a strategy consultant. Vivek began their career as an engineer at General Motors where they spent five years working on vehicle integration.

Vivek Malipatil reports to Arun Rajagopalan, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Ashwin Raja - Co-Founder & CTO, Jon Elvekrog - Chief Revenue Officer.
