Brad Makovec is an experienced technology consultant and business owner with a diverse background in multiple industries. Since January 1993, Brad has operated bmak.net, providing website hosting and infrastructure support. In 2001, Brad also founded Burnouts Unlimited, specializing in photography, media creation, and automotive product design and fabrication. Additionally, Brad has served as Laser Operations Manager at AF Gason Pty Ltd since February 1997 and has been a Motorsport Official for Motorsport Australia since January 1995. Educational qualifications include studies at Federation University Australia, South West TAFE, and Ararat Secondary College.
Motorsport Australia
Motorsport Australia is a not-for-profit member-based organisation focused on the development, regulation and administration of motorsport across Australia. Previously known as the Confederation of Australia Motor Sport (CAMS), Motorsport Australia changed its trading name on 1 January 2020 to better reflect its standing as the peak body for motorsport in Australia. Motorsport Australia has a proud history and has been the custodian of motorsport in Australia since 1953. The organisation is the Australian delegated National Sporting Authority (ASN) by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body for world motorsport and the federation of the world’s leading motoring organisations; a responsibility held since 1958.
