Andreas Skielboe

Chief Technology Officer at Motosumo

Andreas Skielboe started their career as an Educational Guidance Counsellor at Københavns Universitet in 2011. Andreas then pursued their Ph.D. at the same university, specializing in mapping velocity fields in clusters of galaxies and reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara, focusing on astronomical observations and data calibration of active galactic nuclei and numerical methods in time series analysis. In 2015, Skielboe joined Motosumo as a Product Development Scientist and later became the Chief Technology Officer in 2023.

Andreas Skielboe earned a Bachelor's degree in High energy physics from the University of Copenhagen, Københavns Universitet, from 2006 to 2009. Andreas then pursued a Master's degree in Astrophysics from the same institution, completing it between 2010 and 2012. In 2010, Andreas also had the opportunity to work as a Summer Student at CERN, specializing in High energy physics.
