David Skaarup has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started as an Assistant at Novozymes in 2004 before moving on to work as a Student Assistant at Infocare from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they completed a University Internship at So ein Ding, Danmarks Radio. David then worked as a Research Assistant at Aalborg University Copenhagen in 2010. From 2011 to 2017, David worked as a Frontend Developer at Chainbox. In 2017, they joined Motosumo as a Mobile UI/UX Developer, where they currently work.
From 2005 to 2010, David Skaarup attended Aalborg University, where they pursued a M.Sc. in Medialogy.

This Danish fit-tech company was founded in 2015 by an eclectic team of athletes, engineers, and astrophysicists. They realized that the motion sensors found inside smartphones could be used to generate live fitness metrics, like cadence and power, on any bike. So, they built an app and added some fun interactive features and games.
