Susanne Tolstrup

Susanne Tolstrup has extensive experience in communications, public affairs, and strategic consulting. Susanne currently works as the Head of Communications and PA at Kvasir Technologies, where they oversee communication and public affairs efforts for the company. Prior to that, they worked as a Guest Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on stakeholder engagement in a socio-economic study. Susanne also served as an Independent Communications Advisor and Strategist at COMMunity ApS, providing strategic communications, public affairs, and crisis management support to various clients. Susanne was a Partner at LØFT - et konsulent partnerskab, where they helped companies and organizations achieve their ambitious goals. Additionally, they served as the Chief Communications Officer at Motosumo, managing communications and PR for the fit-tech company. Susanne also worked as a Senior External Advisor at SpaceInvader, leading communications and public affairs activities. Susanne has previous experience as a Senior Communications Advisor at Total, supporting the company's communication and sustainability efforts. Susanne was the Head of Communications and Stakeholder Management at E.ON Denmark, responsible for corporate communications, public affairs, and media relations. Before that, they worked as a freelance communications consultant and served as the Director of Communications and PA at Better Place Denmark, managing the brand and leading a communications team. Susanne has a strong background in energy, technology, and sustainability sectors, and they have worked with a wide range of stakeholders in Denmark and internationally.

Susanne Tolstrup began their education at Gymnasierne Erhvervsskolerne Aars, where they attended the Business College from 1986 to 1989. Susanne then enrolled at Aalborg University from 1990 to 1992, earning their Bachelor's degree in English and German, with a focus on business language. Susanne continued their studies at Aalborg University from 1994 to 1997, completing a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Language (English) and international studies. Susanne later attended AVT Business School in 2016 for a Leadership Development Program, which lasted for six months and included five classes and 150 learning hours. Most recently, in 2020 to 2021, Susanne studied at the University of Cambridge, where they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (Organisations), specializing in Sustainability Leadership.
