Neeraja Swaminathan is an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since September 2022, previously serving as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at Mott Children's Health Center from June 2021 to June 2022. Neeraja completed a Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics from July 2017 to June 2021, and has additional experience as a Pediatrician at UHS Hospitals in early 2016 and as a Community Pediatrician at Mount Sinai Health System from 2013 to 2016. Neeraja earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Pediatrics from Nassau University Medical Center in 2012, completed a Pediatrics Residency Program at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center from 2008 to 2011, and received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Government Kilpauk Medical College in 2007. In addition, Neeraja pursued advanced education in Coagulation Medicine, specializing in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the University of Michigan from June 2021 to June 2022.
