Karthik Viswanathan has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles.
Karthik started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California in 2004.
From 2006 to 2012, Karthik worked at Donaldson, where they held positions in engineering, marketing, and sales. During their time there, they implemented new CRM and NPD processes, built technical centers of excellence, and established a global sales organization. Karthik also served as the Global GM for the Venting Solutions and Semiconductor & Imaging Business Group, driving growth and profitability through innovative strategies and expanded business reach.
In 2018, Karthik joined Quadion LLC / Minnesota Rubber and Plastics as a Vice President. While in this role, they were responsible for business units and corporate development, with a focus on engineering and R&D. Karthik successfully managed a $250M business portfolio across multiple segments and played a key role in the firm's sale to Trelleborg AB.
Most recently, Karthik has taken on the role of Vice President & General Manager, Global Business at Mott Corporation, starting in 2023.
Karthik Viswanathan's education history includes a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (BChE) from the University of Minnesota, which they completed from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they pursued further studies at the University of Southern California, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering by the end of 2005. Karthik then returned to the University of Minnesota and enrolled in the Carlson School of Management from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance & Business Strategy.
