Alex Gkiokas

Alex Gkiokas possesses extensive experience in the water industry, currently serving as the Asset Information Manager for Anglian Water Services, focusing on drought risk mitigation through infrastructure development. Gkiokas is also the Unit Digital Lead at Mott MacDonald Bentley, enhancing digital capabilities within the Anglian Water account, and chairs the Asset Data Standardisation Group at BIM4Water, shaping asset information requirements. Additional roles include Vice Chair of the Data Quality, Security and Governance Group and Governor at The Spinney Primary School, contributing to resource monitoring and financial oversight. Gkiokas has held several positions in leading organizations, including water engineering roles and governance lead for the National Digital Twin Programme. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Water Resources Science & Technology and an MEng in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
