Adina Popa

Adina Popa is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Development Director for IFI Energy and Head of Energy Strategy and Innovation at Mott MacDonald since 2008. With a proven track record in leading large multidisciplinary teams on global projects, Adina has successfully initiated and managed numerous projects supported by grant funding. Prior to this role, Adina was the Sector Leader for Carbon Capture and Storage at Cranfield University from 2006 to 2008, and served as the CCS Group Team Leader. Academically, Adina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MSc) from the University 'Politechnica' of Bucharest.
