Ben Daykin is a seasoned façade engineering professional with extensive experience in the industry, currently serving as Technical Director for both the UK and Australian façade teams at Mott MacDonald since October 2014. Ben's career began at Polybuild Ltd as a Technical Design Engineer from 2004 to 2008, followed by a role as Facade Design Manager at James & Taylor Ltd, where involvement in prestigious projects like the Tate Modern II and New York Museum of Contemporary Art was notable. Ben's expertise in commercial and design aspects of façade engineering has significantly contributed to the growth and success of Mott MacDonald's façade team since joining after the RIBA Stirling Prize win for the Liverpool Everyman. Educationally, Ben holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Industrial Design from Brunel University of London.
