Daniel Martyn

Daniel Martyn is an experienced professional in the defense and energy sectors, currently serving as the Defence and Energy Portfolio Director at Mott MacDonald since November 2017. Previous roles include Divisional Director and Built Environment Defence Sector Lead. Prior to joining Mott MacDonald, Daniel served as the Dreadnought Programme and Capability Officer at the UK Ministry of Defence, overseeing the £31bn Dreadnought Programme. Daniel's military background includes leadership positions such as Commanding Officer of HMS VIGILANT within the Royal Navy, alongside roles in naval capability development and operations. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London, an MBA from The Open University Business School, and additional degrees in International Relations and Security Studies.
