David Burns

David Burns is a highly experienced Senior Computer Aided Design Technician currently working at Mott MacDonald since August 2020. With a career spanning over a decade in various roles within leading engineering firms, Burns has developed expertise in producing 2D and 3D models and construction drawings for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and public health engineering projects. Previous positions include roles at AECOM, Atkins, and Tony Gee and Partners, where notable projects included significant railway infrastructure and station redevelopment works. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) from The Open University and a Diploma of Higher Education in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.
