Ian Watkins

Ian Watkins is a Chartered Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the design and construction of heavy rail, metro, and light rapid transportation schemes, as well as associated transport-oriented development. Currently serving as Project Principal and Director at Mott MacDonald since 2005, Ian Watkins has held various roles, including Professional Head for Stations and Design Manager/Structural Engineer. Prior to this, Ian Watkins worked at Edmund Nuttall Ltd from 1999 to 2004, where roles included Site Engineer and Structural Engineer. Ian Watkins holds an educational background from the University of Surrey, where studies were completed from 2002 to 2005.
