Mount Desert Island Land & Garden Preserve
Kathryn Strand serves as the Director of Development and Communications at Mount Desert Land and Garden Preserve since January 2018. Previously, Kathryn held the position of Director of Alumni and Stewardship at Berwick Academy from November 2008 to December 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Development at Richie McFarland Children's Center from 2000 to 2006 and working as a Senior Consultant at Atos KPMG Consulting between 1985 and 1990. Kathryn earned a BA in Journalism from New York University, attending from 1978 to 1982, and completed high school at Trinity High School from 1974 to 1978.
