Daniel Valenzuela has a diverse work experience in engineering and maintenance roles. Daniel is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering & Maintenance at Mount Franklin Foods since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director (US/MX) Project Engineering & Maintenance Operations at the same company from April 2022 to March 2023.

Daniel also has experience in the food industry, working as an Engineering Leader for the Mexico Business Unit at Mondelēz International from July 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they worked at Unilever as a Senior Maintenance & Digital Manager and World Class Manufacturing Manager from August 2019 to July 2021.

Additionally, Daniel has held roles in maintenance management at Whirlpool Corporation from June 2018 to August 2019, and at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions from May 2017 to June 2018. Daniel also worked at Bridgestone Americas for over a decade, holding various roles including New Product Introduction & Process Engineering Manager, Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Engineer.

Daniel's professional experience also includes being a Conference Speaker at CEO Global Network MEX in November 2016, where they spoke about the challenges in maintenance and strategies in advanced manufacturing. Daniel started their career as a Maintenance, Manufacturing & Quality Engineer at GE Transportation from January 2004 to December 2005 and as a Manufacturing Engineer at HItech Monterrey from January 2002 to December 2003.

Daniel Valenzuela's education history includes obtaining an Engineer's Degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2000-2004. Daniel then pursued a Specialty in Manufacturing Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2005-2006. In 2015-2016, Valenzuela completed an MBA with specialization in Global Business Strategy from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and also a C-Level degree from IPADE Business School in the same period. Daniel further enhanced their business administration and management skills by participating in the Raw Case Studies competence at Yale School of Management in 2016, and the MBA International Case Competition at John Molson School of Business in 2016. Recently, Valenzuela enrolled at Escuela mexicana de sommeliers from 2020-2022 to pursue a Sommelier Junior degree and specialize in Wine Steward/Sommelier.
