Georgina Caballero

Georgina Caballero has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food industry. Georgina is currently working at Mount Franklin Foods as the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Director, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as the Sr. Quality Assurance Manager from 2022 to 2023, and as the Sr. Quality Engineering Manager from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Mount Franklin Foods, Georgina worked as the FSQA Manager at Quality Fruit & Veg Co from June 2021 to October 2021. Georgina also gained experience as an FSQA Auditor at Primus Auditing Ops from May 2018 to October 2021.

Georgina's earlier career includes a role as a Warehouse Manager at Eagle Foods from November 2016 to May 2018 and as a Packaging Manager at The J.M. Smucker Company from October 2015 to November 2016. Georgina also worked at J&D Produce as a Food Safety Director from November 2014 to October 2015 and as a Food Safety Manager from November 2011 to October 2014. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Technical Sales Representative at Ricap S.A de C.V from September 2010 to October 2011.

Georgina Caballero completed their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) in Food Safety from Michigan State University in the period from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Industry Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 2005 to 2010. Georgina also holds multiple additional certifications, including Candy School from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and various certifications in food safety and quality management.
