Mia Mendoza holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wheelock College. Currently serving as a Permanency Specialist at Mount Prospect Academy since February 2023, Mia has previously worked as a Program Clinician at YOU, Inc., a Resident Counselor at Thriveworks, and a Program Therapist at the Hospital for Behavioral Medicine. Additional experience includes roles as a Therapist at Southbay Community Services, a Nanny at Care.com, and a Toddler Teacher at Cambridgeport Children’s Center. Mia also completed a Clinical Psychology Internship at the Newton Academy of Physical and Social Development and served as a Teacher Assistant at the YWCA Hartford Region, as well as a Student Intern at Women's Lunch Place.
