Alan Fedoruk

Alan Fedoruk is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of Computer Science, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computing at Mount Royal University since September 2006. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Database Administrator for the BC Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks from February 1996 to August 2000, and held various positions at Kwantlen Polytechnic University from September 1985 to April 1992, including help desk, system administration, network administration, database development, and management of application development. Alan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Saskatchewan, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
