Erin Careless

Erin Careless, PhD, serves as the Director of Professional Certificates, Career Essentials, and Accreditations at Dalhousie University Faculty of Open Learning & Career Development since February 2022, while simultaneously holding positions as Program Director for Adult Education/Career Development and Adult Learning and Teaching Initiatives at Dalhousie University since June 2019. Additionally, Erin operates as a Curriculum Consultant at Nova Scotia Community College since January 2019 and is a Stepfamily Coach with StepLife Stepmom Coaching and Support since June 2015, contributing writing to various publications including Stepparent Magazine and Huffington Post. Erin is a PhD candidate at Mount Saint Vincent University, focusing research on the stepfamily experience and role navigation for stepmothers, and has served as a part-time educator in Lifelong Learning. Erin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies, a Masters of Arts in Education, a Stepfamily Coaching Certification, and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education.
