Calvin Taylor Skinner is an experienced leader dedicated to social justice and community engagement. As the Founder and Convener of One Knox Legacy Coalition since March 2018, Calvin Taylor Skinner has focused on empowering emerging leaders in Knox County through political involvement. In addition to this role, Calvin Taylor Skinner serves as an Associate Minister at Mount Zion Baptist Church and previously coordinated the national and Georgia State Get Out the Vote efforts during the 2014 mid-term elections. With a background as the MSDL Alumni Liaison/Coordinator and as an Academic Counselor at Eastern University, Calvin Taylor Skinner has cultivated connections and developed programming for a network of over 90 distinguished leaders. Calvin Taylor Skinner holds a Master of Divinity from Eastern University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

PURPOSE STATEMENT (Our reason for existing) The Mount Zion Baptist Church exists to connect lost souls and living saints with a Loving Savior (Jesus Christ)...through emulating His works and sharing the redemptive message of the CROSS.
