Shane Barnwell

Shane Barnwell is a Senior Software Engineer at Mountain America Credit Union since November 2019, specializing in the development of applications for Member and Loan origination using TypeScript, React, Redux, C#, and SQL. Prior to this role, Shane worked at Overstock.com from December 2012 to November 2019, progressing from Frontend Developer to Development Lead, where responsibilities included overseeing UI development, managing project scopes, and ensuring application performance during peak traffic. Shane's early career included web development internships and roles at organizations such as LDS Tech, Southeast Idaho Research Institute, and BYU-Idaho Economics Department. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from BYU-Idaho, completed in 2012.
