Mountain Brook Schools
Heather Phillips has over 15 years of experience in education, currently serving as a 6th grade Language Arts teacher and Gifted Education Teacher at Mountain Brook Schools since October 2008. Previous roles include teaching various grades, from Kindergarten at Shelby County Schools Educatnl to First Grade at Hoover City Schools. Heather Phillips holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at Austin, and a certification in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Samford University.
