Matt Howard

Matt Howard has extensive experience in educational roles, currently serving as a Teacher at Mountain Brook Schools since August 2016. Previously, Matt held the position of Director at Covenant Classical School, where responsibilities included managing front office operations, human resources, and staff training. From July 2012 to May 2015, Matt served as an Assistant Principal at Shelby County Schools, overseeing daily operations for 400 students and 45 faculty members, and implementing school safety plans. Earlier in Matt's career, teaching positions were held at Hoover City Schools, focusing on creating engaging learning environments. Matt holds an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Montevallo, a Master's Degree in the same field from Jacksonville State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Jacksonville State University.
