Dr. Matthias Mayr

Dr. Matthias Mayr is a highly experienced professional in the sports industry, currently serving as an athlete and sportler for multiple companies, including Mountain Hardwear, Atomic, GRAYL, and Cardo Systems, Ltd. Dr. Mayr also holds the position of Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter at Sportogo since July 2021 and has a robust background as a freeskier, movie producer, director, manager, and motivational speaker with Red Bull Atomic and other brands since June 2009. Previously, Dr. Mayr was the CEO of Outdoor against cancer and worked as a team manager and PR for Alpina Sports / Elan Skis. With a doctorate in natural sciences and a degree in sports science from the University of Vienna, Dr. Mayr combines athletic pursuit with scientific expertise, having also served as a sports scientist at IPAS Krems Landesklinikum prior to 2009.
