Olivia Weiers

Olivia Weiers is an experienced Material Research Developer currently working at Mountain Hardwear since July 2022. Prior to this role, Olivia served as an Engineer at UL from September 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities included managing the lifecycle of fabric testing and certification, facilitating evaluations for emergency first responder garments, and collaborating with global manufacturers. Olivia's experience also includes volunteering with the Peace Corps from April 2017 to September 2019, where significant improvements were made in English language and STEM education in rural Georgia. Earlier roles include a Sales Associate position at The North Face and a Textile Consultant role at Imurj LLC. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer and Color Chemistry from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2016.
