Janet Whitmoyer has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Janet began their career at Saint Patrick Hospital in 1984 as a Register Nurse. Janet then worked as a Registered Nurse at Independent Home Health from 1985 to 1988. Janet joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana in 1988 and held the position of Manager in the Medicare Part B Program until 2001. Janet then moved on to the Montana Medical Association, where they served as the Associate Director of Government Affairs and Reimbursement from 2001 to 2011. In 2011, Janet joined Mountain-Pacific Quality Health as the Quality Improvement Organization Health Technology Specialist. Janet later became the Director of Medicaid Contracts, overseeing multiple contracts with the Montana Department of Health and Human Services. Janet's responsibilities included managing small contract review activities and seeking new business opportunities.
Janet Whitmoyer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Montana State University-Bozeman, where they studied from 1981 to 1983. Prior to that, they pursued a field of study in Biology/Pre-med at the University of Montana from 1979 to 1981, though it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from that institution.
